Born in London on July 28, 1993, Kane entered Tottenham's youth academy in 2004 and was loaned to clubs like Leyton Orient and Millwall in his early career, where he was named the season's best young player, laying the foundation for his future rise.
Kane joined Tottenham's first team in the 2013-14 season and was named PFA Premier League Young Player of the Year with 30 goals in 2014-15. Later, he won the Premier League Golden Boot twice (2015-16, 2016-17 seasons). In 2017, he scored 56 goals to break Messi and Ronaldo's monopoly on the annual goal record and set a new Premier League annual goal record. He became Tottenham's all-time Premier League top scorer in 2018 and the club's all-time top scorer in 2023, but never won a club trophy.
In August 2023, Kane joined Bayern with a Bundesliga-record transfer fee of 120 million euros. In the 2024-25 season, he won the Bundesliga title with the team, claiming his first major career trophy, and shared the Gerd Müller Trophy with Mbappé in the same year. In 2025, he scored 58 goals to surpass his personal best. In Bayern's victory over Stuttgart, he completed a hat-trick within 30 minutes as a substitute, with his 25-meter shot at 128 km/h ranking among the fastest in Bundesliga history. He also helped the team win the DFL-Supercup, completely shedding the "trophy-less" label.
At the national team level, Kane made his England debut and scored in 2015. He won the World Cup Golden Boot with 6 goals in 2018, leading the team to the semi-finals after 28 years and being awarded the MBE. He helped England reach the European Championship final and finish as runner-up in 2021, and again reached the final and won the joint Golden Boot in 2024, becoming the third player in history to hold both Golden Boots. So far, he has made 105 appearances for England, contributing 71 goals and 19 assists, and is the team's core and captain.
Off the field, Kane's statue was unveiled at London's Peter May Centre in November 2024, a recognition of his football achievements from his hometown.
